Sunday January 8th (aka I Feel Like I Should Be Traveling Out West)

Today I was supposed to be the host for the monthly Jazz Brunch but it was fucking 45˚F out with 25 mph wind gusts so I canceled.

Another day of taking everything out of every cabinet in my kitchen and cleaning it. Been doing this for two days now and I'm only about halfway done.

Other than that juts trying to stay warm.

People in Florida are so soft. Round here it was below freezing and pouring with rain, we would have not even considered cancelling - even if it was outdoors. Or even if it started snowing.

Take a look at old film of Glastonbury Music Festival. Out in a field, pouring with rain, up to their ankles in mud and cow shit, and people are enjoying the music and preparing to camp out in the field overnight.

Nahh, you Americans are a bunch of softies.
