It's interesting you guys pay on time.
I was involved with another business that involved reviewing a lot of survey reports. Checking for grammar, and checking the 30-50 questions answered to see if there were any discrepancies between what they clicked off and what they wrote in their free style essay portion. They are known as 'reviewers' as well, and I did a few myself. Anyway, within that industry reviewers are paid per review...usually $2-$3 with various incentives per month. Naturally, the reviewer wants to do as many reviews as possible, but if quality slips they will be assigned less reviews to do. Since some people can do different amounts of reviews than others, having an hourly rate wouldn't make sense. Sometimes reviews are quite easy if the submissions are good and you can blaze though dozens in an hour. If there are problems you'd put it into a 'hold' status for the company owner to look at and move on. Yeah- I know I'm too verbose. Deal with it. I'm just surprised it's hourly and not per review. |
