It works using my Comcast cable. The specs for DNS require a refresh at least every 72 hours so that's the max that a DNS change could take. The reality is that about 60% will change every 24 hours (usually around midnight to 3:00AM local time for them) and then about 35% in 48 hours with the last 5% or less coming in 72 hours.

It takes time and there is nothing that you or your hosting company can do about it becasue it's up to every ISP.
