Wow it is expensive to heat your home.
My electric runs around $300 a month in the hot months and around $180 in the cool months. The only other utility bill I have is my water/waste bill which runs around $85 a month. |

I'll probably have my one remaining ficus tree trimmed way back before the next storm season now that I know they have very shallow roots and tend to fall on things. Other then the inconvenience of the hurricanes they aren't that big of a deal unless something falls on your home since the houses in my area are built to withstand them without damage. I've lived in south Florida since 1969 and last year I was in more hurricanes then all the years I've lived here so I am really hoping that things return to normal in the coming years. |
