Is anyone promoting mobile content yet?

I'm looking at this for various projects. SMS billing is very big here in the UK. As far as I know, however, you are limited to one-time subscription, no recurring (I could be wrong). What's very interesting is that is provides a NEW revenue stream coupled with a new BILLING module. Great aspect is that, by simply sending a text message, the surfer effectively buys a membership. Very simple.

Other advantaged are the potential for branding and expanding your brand into new markets that may not have found you online. One example of branding is providing mobile screensavers and wallpapers, thus encouraging return visits and increasing exposure to other potential surfers : hey take a look at my wicked new wall paper, oo that's naughty.

I'm seeing SMS billing takeing off in Mexico too full page newspaper adds text flirting cartoon wallpapers, screwy ringers and things like that, I don't get it, but the adds cost money so theres got to be something to it
