Getting listed - Greenguy + Jays

I was going to type up a really long & boring post telling you to start your own Link List & then come back here in 2012 & we can pick apart all the rules & whatnot you have in place, but I decided against it.

Here's the email that you get after you submit as it sits in my admin:

Damn! That's a lot of spam & sponsor links, huh?

Oddly enough, that also answers any & all question on where to find me if there's a problem with the listing.

Your posts are not boring. I read them all through when we're in a discussion. Post what you like.

I had thought about a link list after admiring Tim's script, but then reality kicked me in the ass and reminded me that I work 12 hours a day now.

Actually, what I said was "Was that a rule? "Rule 1, I won't mail you other than the first one with my sponsor links and links to things that I think are cool in it".

and

(I don't know if you actually do that, I never checked. Other linklists damned sure want you to see their sponsors, fuck all listings and rejection mails).

Which, (I said) I didn't know if you sent one or not, but it turns out that you do and re-affirms that the only one important enough to send out was that first e-mail, with your own links, link laden or not. I never said it was spam.

That was also directed to, and is true for, Jays. 1 mail, the first one. His links and that's the last time you hear anything.

Was I wrong?
