Sloppy code slows down pages and will break later on as new versions of browsers come out since they are written to support the current standards. Also it means that you are hoping that your pages are going to get viewed in a browser that will work with your bad coding.
It is like any language, you can not use proper grammar and still be understood, but you may not end up saying what you mean and it gets worse with each generation. |
