Happy just another day in the year for me day.

Actually, the whole TS case has shown certain politicians think they are above the law. They think they can write new laws and just change the world without any concern for people, their desires, and the judgements that exist.

These same people don't like porn. Go figure.

President Bush has looked poor on this one, rushing back to sign a law that wouldn't stand, making some vague comments about the importance of life, etc. He really should have come out and said "human life is important... and the rule of law is important as well. A dozen or more motions and petitions have been made to various federal courts, and they have all been turned down by the learned men and women who sit on the federal bench, some of whom I may have appointed along the way. Let us pray for TS, and let's let her die with dignity when the lord wants to take her"

He could have pleased both sides a bit, pissed them both off a bit. Instead, both sides hate him and his brother on this one.

Want to bet this comes up in the next presidential election?
