Was I Wrong to Reject this Site for Stolen Content?

hello everyone,
yes, that was my site (http://www.post-a-babe.com) that you guys are discussing.

I started the site for my own personal use to see how to build a fully indexed, searchable database using postgresql and images from usenet. After figuring out how to do it and writing several scripts in perl and php, I started to see dollar signs, instead of thinking with my head. I should have known better than to think I could get away with something like that. I did manage to write some nice scripts.

Anyway, the site was just made public less than a week ago, and until today I have not seen much traffic. I read the rejection notice that the admin from www.bluewavelinks.com sent me and realized I probably shouldn't be doing this, so I pulled the site immediately. I am working on some new ideas (legal ones this time ).

Thanks to all that responded, I appreciate the input.

I would have rejected him twice. Once for using stolen content. Once for being an asshole

oh yeah, pretty intelligent using the word fuck. Grabbing images off of usenet is not thieving, posting them like I was breaks copyright laws, not theft laws, but good try! Let me know where I was being an asshole and I will deal with it. Until then, keep your worthless comments to yourself and save the bandwidth for someone who has something useful to say.
