Are any top spots worth $1,750.00?

I've bought spots at several TGPs, I've both made a profit and lost my shorts. It is almost like Vegas to buy spots because if they've got different traffic than what you're selling, you're not going to make your money back. So I'd say $1750 is a pretty hefty gamble for a first time gallery spot buyer. Start smaller and build your way up. Remember it's not guaranteed that you will make your money back!

I don't think anyone should spend that though until they've been writing pages for awhile and they know what they're doing. If you convert really well, have all the other essentials (enough quality content, dedicated server, pay partner accounts, tried some of the cheaper traffic sources, choker, chicken, google adwords, askjolene, etc) If you have all those things and the $1750 is just extra...it might be an interesting gamble...if you won't miss it too much.
