Good morning all. Today I am anxiously waiting to see if my first ever free site that I submitted yesterday is going to be accepted by the lists that haven't already done so (if you see what I mean).

I can't believe how stressful it is getting the listing notifications ( or not as the case might be) or how long it took me to build it. How people can knock them together in a couple of hours is beyond me.

Always name your pics the exact same thing. I use a batch file renaming utility for this.

Then all you have to do is duplicate the directory of your site, switch out the pics, do a search and replace on the title and description, upload, and start submitting. Do make up a variety of templates and don't submit the same templates all the time.

I think once I have some templates made up it will be a lot quicker - at the moment I just have the one LOL

I have enough templates that the only time I need to make a new one up is when I use a new sponsor or new promotional material is made available, or when I'm just feeling creative.

I use a utility to batch add my copyright if needed and use ImageReady Droplets to produce the resized pics and thumbs.

Takes me less then 5 minutes to produce a site and for most of it I can be in the kitchen making munchies or something else like doing laundry. 10 minutes if you count me trying to think up a title and description.

And to top it off, this morning a drugged woodpecker (I assume it was drugged, cause like what the fuck!) was sitting on the very top of the light post in front of my house just fucking nailing it |pissed|

You ever heard a woodpecker its like tatatatatatata, but on a metal light post its like tinkatinkatinkatinkatinka with an echo |bat|

this is quite fast - I need more then 6 times more of that time
