lol blind, stupid me. fixed now.
![]() http://www.boogie-blog.com/virtual-bartender-2.htm Here are a few good wordpress plugin anti spam tools. Got them from the wordpress codex If you've submitted to a link list lately you may have seen the grahpical confirmation codes. This one is for comment spam: http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=27328 Of course word press 1.5 includes the 'bad world' filter list. This is under options. Grab their suggested list and plug it in. I moderate all links and comments, especially those who trigger the 'bad word' list. And for trackback spam take a look here at the wordpress forum as new tools are being developed quickly for 1.5. if ya find one that installs fast let me know! http://wordpress.org/support/search....trackback+spam |

No offence Apu, but when they were handing out religions you must have been out taking a whizz

It's been very frustrating for me lately as I am trying to get into the trackbacking "groove" with my blogs... most people have the NO FOLLOW or don't have them turned on or are using programs that don't allow trackbacks in the first place. VERY frustrating.
We have had some captcha issues with our comments/trackbacks in the past but have found other ways to combat frequent spammers. It seems like it's always the penis pill and casino guys that have so much free spamming time on their hands. lol Good tips here, nice write-up Boogie. Will refer our bloggers here for some tips. Thanks! ![]() |
