Well, keep the butt plug warm, they elected a 78 year old as the pope... wont be long before we all do this again. Church goes MASSIVELY conservative so the church becomes less relevant, and they choose a man who in past was part of hitler's own army. Gotta love it. Pope Benedict the 16th.

Kardinal Josef Ratzinger was elected and endeed, he was part of the nazi supporters. But so he´s in good company, because catholic church supported Hitler anyway. In exchange Hitler "founded" church taxes in Germany. Government takes an amount of income taxes and pays it directly to the churches. No way to avoid it but quitting your "membership" in the church.

Is he dead yet?

Oops, sorry, but this Pope's got about as much shelf life as jizz on the roof of a car in Phoenix during summer time. We'll be watching him turn stiff 3 years from now and I doubt there will be much fanfare for this one.

Way to pick a Pope

I think we need a 'Guess when the Pope is going to die' thread. The winner gets a free, albeit brief, trip to the pearly gates where he/she will get to watch the pontiff attempt to explain his way out of the whole Nazi thing before being exiled to the underworld.

Of course, everyone's concept of heaven and hell are different. In reality, heaven is your first day on broadband. Hell is having your server go down, only to realize that your host's support system was on the same server as you.

LMAO, that happened 2 weeks ago to me. Which lead me to call their tech support (insert dramatic pause on how this could be even more hellish)...and tech support couldn't speak English.

Back to the Pope though...this guy could walk on water and I wouldn't respect him. I'm going to take 3 years from this date on the Pope Dead Pool.
