I'd look at some of the really big adult blogs (fleshbot is a great example) and compare them to yours.

I've always liked your blog but its hard work creating a constant update stream people enjoy, ya know?

It should also be a launchpad to your other adult projects. Any link lists or TGP or free sites.

Use it to add extra traffic to the galleries you build.

"Today I built XXXX".
"today I submitted to XXXX"
"Today we shot this girl, her content is on this paysite"

I think you could make it work and have it not be that much effort in the long run.
