My friend of a friend of a scalper got me the Motley Crue tickets :)

I figured it was bullshit. But, yesterday in the mail came 2 4th row center tickets for Saratoga

My wife is dancing. I really couldn't give a shit about them.

Take ear plugs, we saw the Crue (with what's his name as the singer) and had front row near the right speakers, didn’t know our seats were THAT good and did not bring ear plugs.

My right ear rang for a week.

15 years ago I would have killed for those tickets, but after seeing Vince getting “remade” on tv and Tommy becoming “cool” and going to college, I am not sure I would go.

Unless they were free.

They weren't free but they were only about 125/ticket
The inside of SPAC has been sold out since the day they went on sale. I think that was mother's day....but I could be wrong.

Last concert we saw was The Who, 3 weeks after Ox died, still it was the best concert I ever seen so I can not see myself going to another concert since it can not ever be topped.

We ended up paying $500+ for 4 tickets, I got them online and had ticketmaster issues and got the last row for $80, and was so pissed I destroyed the phone. But I kept trying and got row 15 dead center. We tried to sell the first set, but none of our friends could go and a scalper would only give me $30 so I ate them.

No Regrets.... Best Concert Ever.

AS far as hard rock/heavy metal is concerned, Motley Crue was one of my best bands but that was also 1990 and earlier. I also used to be into Van Halen BIG TIME before Roth fucked up and slept with Alex Van Halen's wife. AC/DC was and is still one of the best bands. When they were here in Toronto during that SARS concert I could hear them as clear as a bell from my backyard - no joke.

These days though, gimme some good Ragga beats or some Gangsta hip hip my zigs and some cold beer and I'm a happy camper.

Enjoy the show, Jim. I am curious to find out how or if you enjoyed it or not.

I just saw them live a few months ago, and the show was in Typical old school Motley Crue form EXCELLENT!!! Non stop from start top finish and they sounded excellent, Vince might be an old bastard now but his voice was right on.

ehhhh...I guess I can take them or leave them. But my wife loves them so, as long as she is happy, I will be.

I just talked to a friend who got back from Sweden Rock Festival. Mötley Crue was the last band to play and she said they were good.
She doesn't really like that kinda music, so I guess they were pretty good
