Whats the best TGP/LL to submit to as a newbie

As a newbie in the adult biz, are there any "best" TGP's and LL's to submit your galleries and freesites? By "best" I mean, that they
1 ) will be kind enough to email you a rejected notice "cus of..."
2 ) allow sponsor content ( we got to start some place )
3 ) not having too much traffic, but enough to be able to draw a conclusion about CTR, traffic quality etc.

And yes, I know, manually submit

Here's the thing, link list owners with all the millions of recips to their sites just don't have time to check a box to send you a reject mail. It's just not part of the agenda for some reason

Quite a few of the biggies will too, but not all. The smart submitter will post a polite question on this board and in 99 out of 100 cases receive polite and very helpful replies.

We moved into a new house right on the Marina and the store on the corner sells Sol.

Funny how if they sell Corona (Modelo) products they don't carry Sol products and vice versa.

Same is true for restaurants and bars.

Nah, I'm on top of the world and my new pay site that I spent 2 months in custom code building is kicking ass and taking names and I'm just enjoying my country and not having an extra shit-load of work on short notice in the midst of all of this 2257 BS.

BTW, I do still submit freesites to you, geographically challenged Timmy and Cleo brown sniffer as well as a few others etc.

Anyway, I was here because boardtracker just tripped 'traffic' and I decided to pop in and stir up some shit

Oouchies.....Although I cannot really speak on behalf of other webmasters from LL's and directories, but I know for myself that I will "ALWAYS" reply back with rejection reasons, but I also add in a solution. Lest we forget, (as I mentioned in another board on this identical post) that if we don't look after webmasters who submit sites and be honest with them and open, LL's and Directories would not be in business. Plus, it helps them learn when they go to create more sites.

This is exactly that...its a business. IF you walk into a restaurant and order food but you never see your server or food from that point on, you think you will ever go back to that restaurant again? Not to mention spread word to your friends not to go to that place ever!

Exactly.

But most large LLs don't. They cite how much extra work it is, but people like me know how fast and cheap a checkbox and a short array of canned radio button selected responses could be coded into any script.

So, "Oh we can't answer because it's too much work" is bullshit. A reviewer could respond in 1/2 second with a canned answer if they wanted to.

The only logical answer is "we don't respond because we list only a fraction of sites that are submitted and we don't want everyone pissed and not coming back to submit and run our button".

THAT is the only answer. No matter what anyone says.

Whatever does chinese traffic have to do with anything, I don't know. Do you want to buy some? Because I sell the hell out of it , not that it has anything to do with anything other than trying to be a smart mouth.

And Mark, IMO there is no other answer. I don't need a link list, a board and to write tutorials to see the benefits in not sending out canned e-mails.

The original answer to that is that it takes up too much time, and THAT is bullshit. Everyone knows that.

There is only one-way benefit in not sending them.

I am not saying you should or that anyone should. I'm saying it's not a time factor no matter what anyone says, and that it only has one way benefits.

Those are both true statements, take it for what it's worth. You will never convince me otherwise, no matter how much Chinese traffic I sell or how many link lists or boards I don't own.

You are so wrong.

Before when I had partner only submits, it was all good. The ones that bothered to apply were people that were serious about this. They read the reason for rejection and fixed it for their next site.

Then I made a test and opened up for everyone, just to see what it would be like. With partner submits I accept about 80%, non-partner it's the other way around.
The people that get rejected loves to debate. They always get their sites accepted at all the other LL's, yet no one has listed them, and that I'm wrong about my rejection reason.
Imagine getting 100+ submits a day and answer all the people that loves to debate why their site was rejected. That takes time and energy because it's the same shit over and over.

Regardless of what ASTs inexperienced, small minded, ignorant, dogfucking, and just generally useless opinions may state, reviewing becomes a numbers game at a certain point and you have to get more efficient. Add to that the fact that most of us don't write our own scripts so our ability to customize them is limited.

Add to that the fact that 98% of decline explanations go ignored and you see the same shit over and over again. Most people just don't bother to read them, and if they do they ignore what they say. I just stopped sending explanations in every email a couple months ago, but I have a thread here (to which there is a link in my decline emails) in which I happily give explanations, almost always within 24 hours. If the issue is corrected the site gets listed.

There are lots of great link lists to submit to, and many (though not all) of the owners post on this board, and either have official "why was my site declined?" threads in which you can post for decline explanations or will respond to any post with their domain/LL name in the title. If you correct the issue your site will get listed (or with some you need to resubmit).

If you only submitted to sites owned by members/posters at this board, you will get a shitload of traffic.

My past experince I always had a hard time getting in with the BIG LL/TGP's..
I received very few rejected notices..I would actually email them to find out why it was not listed then go from their.
Content to me was cheap a few years ago..not sure what its like now..as I have not looked for any yet..But was a problem w/sponsor content..being over used..Damn that use to piss me off..sorry but your content is old try buying some.. other then that looks good.
The traffic issue...all I can say about that is be prepared if you get listed on a larger LL/TGP...

If someone is too lazy to read my rules, then I am too lazy to send him an email. But if you would, lets say, mistype some image file name or something similar, I will notify you and ask you to fix it and resubmit.

My advice is build a gallery/free site, post it in this forum and others will tell you if it is ok or not.

A big thank you to all your replies ( even though the thread was hijacked there for a second ).

I understand both sides of the equation. LL/TGP owners/reviewers have way too many daily links to spent too much time on why they were rejected, specially when they don't know how serious the submitter is/will be about this biz.
I think the solution of posting in this forum is a good compromise for both parties, so I will stick to the sites listed in the link you guys provided ( thx about that, didn't see it before ).

Regarding the sponsor content or not, I am aware you have better chances of getting listed when you buy your own content, but as a newbie I rather use sponsor content, untill I am more experienced with sales text, niches etc.

It's been much harder for me to get decline reasons from TGPs than it has for LLs. It's hard to get TGPs to respond to anything, lol. But Richard's Realm TGP section is pretty good about letting you know. Have to submit early there though, because they run out of space (unless you have a paid account). Good luck!

There is no magic bullit. You just submit to as many as you can and track your success. Then repeat where you are having luck. You gotta work at it. I use sponsor content and I get accepted most places I submit. Just make sure your sites are decent and go for it !!!
