I turned wrenches for 10 years, and I don't know why Ford truck oil pans always rot out. GM and Chrysler oil pans don't, and from the price you posted I see that you have a van
Those things are an absolute motherfucker to change the oil pans on...the first time I did it was once too many.Ford trucks have had this same issue since the mid '80s. Perhaps one day they'll use better paint on their oil pans ![]() |
