I am a lawyer, and the answer is, at least according to the US Department of Justice, Yes.
HOWEVER-- If you and your company are based in Canada, the DOJ does not have the authority to come knocking on your door. In law school legal theory, you are subject to the law. In the real world, the chance that the law would ever be enforced against you is very small. www.chadknowslaw.com |
