Happy Wack a Mole Wednesday

Morning
Damn, yesterday you may remember I was plugged up like a toilet. Well, I got really sick all day. Today, it is flowing a little more than I like but at least the pressure is gone. If I am not here, it is because I am on the toilet

And Lord, we are especially thankful for nuclear power, the cleanest, safest
energy source there is. Except for solar, which is just a pipe dream

That is what I want to read about first thing in the morning, Jim's bowel movements.

Good Morning

Trying to wake up here, not an easy thing to do this morning.

Not much going on in my life, I'm a boring woman.

Espresso is ready

Mornin' all

Second cup of kona here, and not sure what I got done
while I was drinking the first one. But I'm awake now
so things should improve a little bit.

Cleo - That really does look like a great new mouse idea
that Apple has come up with. Unfortunately I'd have to
drive almost to Miami to see one. If you happen to get a
chance to check one out (up in the civilized world where
you live), please do pass along your comments.

I'm going to check it out as soon as I can get my hands on one. I remember last time someone came out with what was suppose to be a great mouse and after using it for a few minutes I decided that it sucked. It was the one with touch pad on the mouse instead of a scroll wheel.

From what i read from people using it I don't think that I will like it. Right now I have my two buttons setup that if I click both at the same time (cording the buttons) it gives me an Option, Command Click that I use to hide all except the app I'm working in. Seems with the Apple mouse you can't do that so that is why they added the squeeze click to their mouse. Also you can't rest your fingers on the "mouse buttons" plus the track ball scroll wheel is slowing then using a scroll wheel.

WTF, Apple makes a great OS, kewl looking well made hardware, even really great keyboards but they can't seem to make a decent mouse.

Remember the 'hockey puck" mouse that was introduced with the first iMacs? It was like, here is this great new computer design and you get to use a mouse that is round, small, and you can't tell which way is up without looking at the cord plus it only has one button and no fucking scroll wheel.

Good thing that Kensinton makes the Iridio mouse which I love and only costs $17 at the local computer store.

No place like Slashdot for fair and balanced (eventually).

I'm not sure I'll like it either. But I'd still like to try one for myself.
I've been surprised by Apple before, after a hands-on trial.

Btw, the article didn't show up for me at that address. I found it at...
