Bill - thats the main reason Im keeping her - I was over-run with moccasins and while they really arent striking snakes, I just hate the idea that they had already killed one of my favorite pet dogs and you have to watch our for them when youre doing any tree cutting etc.
natalie - its not as big as it looks - probably about 3 foot body - real young - I have seen a second one although it is a lot smaller - they wont stick around more than a year or so - once they get too big they move on as I only have about 2 acres in the pond and thats really not enough for them to live in getting large
