Hopefully it is okay to reference another adult webmaster resource on here... This was the second article I came across that mentioned 15fps: http://www.ynot.com/modules.php?op=m...ticle&sid=9589

Television transmits around 30 frames per second ("fps"). The standard for internet video varies. Webcam-type video goes as low as 1 or 2 fps, but most web video is somewhere in the vicinity of 15 fps.
I can't remember where I read the first article but I think it was a non-adult webmaster board.

The second time I saw 15fps mentioned I thought, "hmmm, I should look into this." But maybe I am just on a wild goose chase.

Thanks for the url GC, I will check it out.
