To newbies

I would just like to say--to the newbies out there--that it is important to have business skills and/or education before entering this field. For example, one must know about bookkeeping/acounting (if doing it on there own), taxes, planning, networking and have the understanding of SEO/marketing on the internet. I would have saved much time and effort have I done this beforehand.

As far as SEO marketing goes thats why people say start out with free sites. So you can learn about that stuff as you go.

I pay an accountant $200 per year to take care of all the tax stuff. I know how to do my taxes but I don't have time and it's a pain in the ass. I'd rather kick out the 200 bucks and concentrate on something else.

Cheers

All of those are ideal to have. But sometimes you can learn as you go along too. As long as you have a very very strong will, and won't be lazy (my problem lol), you'll go far. Eventually. That is probably the most vital thing of all to have I'd say...

If you have the desire and hardwork to make it succeed you will. That's it.
