Yes, I've seen such arguments myself , but I dont equate bad quality with amateur , to me its the model and the sets that make the difference between amateur and pro-am . If a model is too made up and wearing clothes that you would never see a woman wearing on a day to day basis, or the background looks like a house nobody lives in then I would call it professional or pro-am at best . I take pics of high quality(minored in photography not spelling lol) but you can tell my house is lived in .
A good example of what I'm talking about is in the dvd/vhs porn realm(I worked in a smut shop for 2 years) .
"Home grown" would be concidered amateur.
"dirty debutants9 -20+" would be concidered pro-am.
"latina debutants1 - 5" would be amateur.
"latina debutants 6- 10+" would be pro-am.
Now the reason some of the same title are no longer thought of as amateur is because do to the fact that many women from those titles have gone on to be mainstream pornstars, so now its not just bored houswives that appear on those titles, now its mostly strippers and college chick trying to break into porn.
like in those titles the photo quality was always good its just the models that were different .

Yes I'm starting to feel you might be right .
The only problem with that is it costs alot more to pay women to pose than to buy content from others unless I start my own content service .
I only know 5 or six girls who will pose cheaply , though one of those 6 will pose and do hardcore for a case of corrona and a fith of jose guervo .
And I know a few girls that I know from my days as a bouncer(at the nudey bar) but they're iffy.

To throw another cliche at you, "you've got to spend money to make money." You get what you pay for when it comes to talent. If you want drunk streetwalkers to suck your cock for cash, don't count on reliability, or STD-free-ness.

Whether you're going for the "amateur" angle or not, treat everyone professionally and you're more likely to get the same in return. Getting a girl from a club really wasted and then taking nudes of her is not only ethically sketchy, but chances are, she's not going to be sober enough to complete a model release and be carrying two forms of ID. She might even call the cops or some big guy-friends once she comes around in the morning and realizes what happened the night before.

well for most of the models I've photographed I allready have the releases ready and noterized . And by the way its mostly friends of mine that are posing ,not just some hooker I pick up though that might not be a bad idea. after all thats how the bogus brothers started out .

the stripper friends view it as free advertising, so its in the contract that I have to state where they dance on the site .
