You tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is 'never try'

Did i said it? I just think small owners should not a lot picky like big guys. Sometimes freesite gets listed at big LLs and declined by small LLs for some curious reasons. (pics too big, i can't see big guys's recips near my one, submitter too blonde..)
btw
I still not going to check out every damn 2257
page instead cheking where site already
listed and where's sumbitter already blacklisted(maybe). This way works better for me.

Well I tried when I first started not to be so picky as I'm a small link list. The problem I ran into was these people taking advantage of the fact I'm not so picky. Sending me so many sites that are just plain shit! I have some regular submitters that send me great sites that follow my rules. My rules to begin with a very basic. I may be small and may never become a "big" link list but that's ok at least its not a small list full of crap sites.

Sue - I kind of felt that way too...I needed the submits & felt a bit pretentious declining sites just because there was a tiny scroll.
Then I thought - you know, I have to build my sites to conform with all these rules, why should someone else not have to? The rules aren't terribly restrictive, everyone knows them (or should) and unless there's some wierd rule like you can't use the color blue, then everyone either conforms or doesn't get accepted -period.

It's like having kids - you have to get the rules down right from the start cuz it gets harder as they get bigger (spoken from experience )
