Something you might want to consider. Make a filter site that is nothing but join for free or free ezine sites. Make the site navigation extremly easy. On your html pic page top ad to sponsor, bottom ad to your filter site that is join for free. When I had a lot of images traffic, I could average $.05 per click which is pretty good for me.

I haven't been keeping track of SE traffic for a month, but I noticed some fresh google image traffic today.
