if you didn't like Rushmore don't bother watching Royal Tennenbaums or Life Aquatic.
Wes Anderson has a unique sensibility when it comes to comedy. Definitely not for everybody. You might like Bottle Rocket, his first film, which is somewhat easier to laugh along with. I tend to agree with those people who put Rushmore on top 10 list. I hate lists but if I had to have one Rushmore would be up there... |
