How long it takes you to build and submit a site?

maybe 1h to buid. then 30 min more to change stuff, after I realize I've fallen into the same old fuckin template again. then 30 min to actually pick & cut the movies, make the screencaps. And upto 1h more for the submission to ~ 150 LLs. I used to take like 2.5-3h and sub to over 400 LLs. but I was young and foolish. lol

On a good day I'm done in 2h.

Damn you guys are fast!! It takes me a whole day to build and submit one site!!!
It's getting faster as I have a lot of different templates built up. I get stuck on the stupid things like colors, making tables etc!! I submit to about 48 LLs with each site. I do it all by hand, and get sidetracked all the time. I often will go to the LLs and check out a lot of their sponsor info, new programs they are trying etc..So just clicking on the webmaster submit button sometimes takes a hour or so before I actually leave...

You sound like me, sometimes it takes me 5 I start getting creative, making my own banners for the sites, making custom graphics, writing stories for the pics, lol. I will take another site as a base for recip tables, or just the tables for the pics on the gallery pages then I change everything so it looks different, lol.

It usually takes me close to a day as well, but then I do not have 1000 templates to just go mix and match.
I start out from scratch on almost every free site.

When you pay for your own content, not being accepted to lists is a lot different than just grabbing sponsor content, building a site in 5 minutes and then subbing it, hoping that 50% of the link lists accept it. Each free site costs money, not just time spent building it. And I understand time is money, but I think you know what I mean.

So I try to make a nice free site that I hope LLs will accept. Even though I'm sure the people that I submit to will probably be saying...that guy has got to change his fucking templates already

But then I definitely still consider myself a newbie, so certainly don't follow my plan, as I clearly have no clue wtf I am doing

Maybe this speed free site building is what everyone is talking about, working smarter, not harder.

I use to be like you. I learned rather quickly what color schemes and fonts worked best etc. My first couple months though...damn I was working on perfection...I thought. LOL

I got it down to a couple hours but I got many templates plus fuck banners and graphics, I hardly ever use banners anymore, sure you should make a site look nice but not spend much time on it.. you gotta get pages out there not win a free site talent contest...

Geez..you and making your own banners, graphics etc! All I know is html and damn I even just use frontpage to build my sites. I'm not good at design, coding or making any graphics. But my sites are getting listed and I'm making money so I guess I'm alright!

My hats off tjchuck though, like him I buy all my own content.

Usually 5 free sites, and I have not once used sponsor content for free sites or tgp. I use the FHGs for hub.
I also said earlier in this thread that I have no clue wtf I am doing.

I guess my average would be 4 a week. Though I do have weeks when I take a break and only get up 3.

Don't use any sponsor content except on my hub and LLs.
