Could this be considered 5 links instead of one?

(Its a temp url running off my C drive hehe)

I put 5 thumbs together and linked them.. would that count as 5 links?

It would be considered one link, but unfortunately it would be considered one blind link

I don't know that anyone really has a rule against it, but considering the point of a "warning" is to provide a genuine adult content warning, it may go over like exit links to other porn sites....no specific rule against it but still decline-able

I tried it with a couple of free sites, but it just seems really cheesy to me. There's plenty of other ways to SE optimize with both Google and surfers in mind.

one thing thats always bugged me about the warning thing... 98% of the traffic to the freesite is going to be from adult link lists... and they already have warning pages, so is there really any specific point to the actual warning itself? seems kinda redundant...

But then it wouldn't be a site without the warning page.

Remember that a tremendous amount of LL traffic is SE traffic that doesn't enter through the front door, and thus does not see the LL warning page

Warning text imo is just for show for the reason MadMax just mentioned -- every page on your domain should eventually be a point of entry. If you're serious about protecting children, it's more effective to use the ICRA tag (and not the old ones, they don't work).
