I am wondering is someone could help me real quick

my brother in law just lost his job and has to update his resume, unfortunately it is in .wps (I believe Microsoft Works) does anyone have a converter, that if I transfer this resume to them they can convert it to a Word document. He thinks I am a miracle worker and not a cut and paste and basic htmler! lol. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me with this. ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, Skype, Whatever you have I will get it to you. I have them all to. I just need a favor.

Thank you

Sincerely Scott

What version of Works was the file created with, and what version of Word do you want to edit it with? IIRC, Word should be able to open a Works wps file and edit it without too many problems, but that might not help if the creating version of Works was newer than the version of Word you're trying to edit with.

Take a look at this link - apparently it should allow documents created in Works 2000 to be opened in Word 2000. There are also some other converters at the bottom of the page that might help.

I think it was created on the first version of works, I can remember rember when my niece got the computer along tima ago, and then in 2004 he made his resume on it, when he had the new word version, sometimes you just shake your head and say why they do that. None the less I thought I could get him out of this jam but simply put, I can't my version of word is newer then the version works he used on my nieces computer. Thanks for the input Rob. Hopefully someone is going to drop by and say send it over! and convert it for me. Fingers crossed my friend.

Sincerely,
Scott
