Which LL rejects for 1st Party Counters?

Findpics does not accept any scripting on the page at all. If you want a counter, you need to do it either in PHP or ASP. I don't want to see any user side scripting on any pages... too each to hide redirects, viruses, and bullshit.

I'm pondering about doing this:

<img src="counter.php?ref=<? $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; ?>">

It would use no javascript. Only an image is hotlinked from a different domain.

The reason why I can't use php is the stats is recorded in a MYSQL DB on a separate server. Linking to an image allows me to send stats to any host I want.

Linking and image from another domain wouldnt be first party

Add me to the list of no counters at all.

Server stats may not be perfect, but they do provide the basic info required. Besides, ya wouldn't wanna get stuck in the stats whore mentality...not a terribly productive use of time

Any kind of scripting on free sites is an instant decline. Frankly, I just don't have the time to analyze the code to see what it's supposed to do.
