About the wallpapers - if you at least had an idea... ever heard of Moskvich or Lada or Trabant? Most of you don't have a single idea how people behind Iron Wall lived, you don't know anything about their culture, education or anything at all.

And how do you know nobody here knows about their history and culture? Do you know every member's background? You can give your opinion but you can't tell me what I know or what I don't. I am extremely familiar with all that knowing my wife is Russian and she even tells me NOT to get in business with Russians because majority of them can and will stab you in the back at the right time. She is right, because I have had many of my work stolen and in EVERY case the person who did that was Russian. So you better get yourself some clue before you open your mouth and call people stupid and tell them to Shut up.

lol, does knowing the culture make the wallpaper any less ugly? There's tribes in Africa that build houses outta shit, I might understand the culture and the reason, but that don't make me want to live in a dung hut.

As for the rest of your statement, yeah, I agree...not all Russians or Eastern Europeans are cheaters. Not all American, Canadians, etc, are honest. That's why I try to deal with people on a case by case basis and not to generalize about them.

oh, umm, but I will stick with the generalization that all Russian wallpaper is ugly.

What I was trying to say is that we had no choice, no options. Making things the way they were was caused by the communism aparat and we were it's victims.

Many people are still with them, cause they don't have the money to change them and what you should know about them is that they're solid, they last for decades without a scratch. That was also part of the aparat - making ugly shits that do the job. That way they were manipulating the block that commi means good, cause it lasts forever and were killing the people's vanity and their desire for new cool stuff. The opposite of captilism, where people are manipulated to buy shit that they don't need.
