Good morning, and happy Turkey Day Eve. . .

It's so cold here this morning, and the only thing that got me out of bed was the thought that tomorrow I get to sleep in. . .

My mom just called me and offered me a free turkey, I said yes, cause although I'm going to a big family dinner tomorrow, I'm still cooking a little small turkey for my house and my dad on Saturday. I love all the food this time of year!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you

I came home from the hosp today for a week or so we will see.. I have to wait for the biopsy results for a week and cannot afford to pay a daily price for the bed... it is good to be at home.. looks like I have metastasis but after trying 4 times to take more material from the other tumor in my throat/neck they gave it up it is in a very bad place. Without giving me any kind of narcotics... but I tolarate pain uber well, didn't ask a single pain killer after the first surgery.
Will be at home for a week and maybe I choose radiation and chemo instead of another big surgery.
I have stage 4 larynx cancer... they removed a big part of it with laser last week on Thursday hoping it is only stage 3 because they were afraid I can't breathe at all and die on them.
The new surgery would mean I have to spend a full month in hospital... and I should learn to swallow and breathe again.. uh not me thanks.
I have to go back next week to get all info and talk about how to follow.
Wish me luck = quick, painless times coming

Judy
