My feeling is that the relationship between the US and Canada won't get better any time in the next 3 years until the boy who would be king gets ousted and replaced with someone who has a clue.

You think it's going to be that easy? He's not leaving office until he's had his way. There will either be nothing left to turnover, he'll take a poison pill like his daddy did and send troops all over the place before he leaves or they'll doctor up new laws.

Either way, it's going to take a long time to clean up this mess. Hell, Iraq will take a generation at least and the deficiet may never get fixed after 8 years of this.

It's good that paul martin stood up and said that, it's probably going to win him a lot of support. The US ambassador can't dictate to our pm about what to do and not to do, it's insanity!
