Part of Non English speaking Newbie education that wants to work in the English speaking world should be a class in English. You will not only not get listed because of poor English skills but if you do get listed, you will not make a sale.

I just think of how did Japaneese cut off a huge part of american's auto market not so long time ago?

Sure, you can hire english-speaking copywriter but it sould be mother tongue man, not these lame asses who think that the bulshit they are trying to sell is proper English.

Honestly, the only two things I expect to be in proper English are site titles and site descriptions. That's all. I don't care how well or poorly spoken you are on the board. (I enjoy the entertainment value of it all.) I don't judge board members based on their English skills. I judge them on their attitude. English is the single most difficult language to learn. Frankly, I'm amazed at how well so many people from non-English speaking nations speak this language. But I realize that people who have never endeavored to learn another language won't respect it the same way I do.

UW thats a very honest post, and yes i have to agree with you, the way how i write english still can and will confuse alot of people, only the ones who know me for some years already, know what i say ( not always) , yes its important to tell in a clear way what you mean, i have to agree, when i readed some of tallys and yahooks post i was even confused and i am used to write and read chinese english, i also know what others have bin thru with my bad writing, if you wanna do bizz you have to try to learn the language you deal with, with or without other peoples help. Good sites have good english text which makes you sell the sponsor, well thats all i can say now................and further i dont care i will have an holiday within 2 days

My biggest issue with the non english speaking webmasters is when the text is so bad, it makes their links blind...which happens a LOT.

Beyond that, I really could care less where a webmaster lives. Hell, some of my best friends in the biz are from other countries. They do speak understandable english, but sheesh...those accents

I DO have a major problem when cocksuckers come to these forums and refuse to listen to why they were rejected. Or, worse yet...try to get ll owners to change well established rules to fit their needs.

I won't even get started on that dipshit Yafool and his escapades

/sarcasm on

The biggest issue is the remote possibility of losing traffic to a gang of English-butchering, multi-submitting, lol*ta-promoting, dog-eating foreign scums working together 24/7 in a little room somewhere in the Ukraine mass-producing link lists.

/sarcasm off

You know, I alter the descriptions to make them understandable. If the sales text is a bunch of babble, fuck it, I don't care as long as it isn't blind. They don't want to make a sale, who am I to care.

What I don't care for is this attitude that the LL owners are cheating the submitters and we have secret rules and we're unfair. Especially when the most vocal opponent has some REALLY fucked up rules himself! 1000 backlinks, etc...

That man is a special case. He's so fucked up, it's obvious in every language.

Accord to my Longman Active Study Dictionary of English:

Racism:
political and social practices based on the belief that one race is the best.

Racist:
a person who believes that his/her own race is the best.

Xenophobia:
unreasonable fear and dislike of foreigners or strangers.

Smells pretty bad from here

Greenie is not a racist nor a xenophobe...he's most likely just sick and tired of dipshits coming to these forums and stirring shit...as are many of us.

Ignoring the fact that you have little intelligence and no idea what makes GreenGuy tick. It's fairly obviously that your half witted remarks are the only racist one's being made here.

At least get your terminology right if you're going to accuse people of something.

Racism:
1.The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2.Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

The insinuation here is that GG is a racist because it is assumed that he doesn't like Russians. Since when does being Russian, or French, or any other nationality have anything to do with race? Even if he hated all Russians passionately (and I have no reason to believe he does) he still wouldn't be a racist. A nationalist bigot maybe, or a xenophobe, but not a racist.

I think the problem is that he (as many other board members) is getting fed up with a few individuals (who happen to be Russian, or French, or whatever) who demand special treatment, won't take no for an answer and just don't know when to shut up.
