Stable condition with a broken collar bone from an ATV accident.
This is why, people that ride one of mine these days need to put down a deposit I was away a few years ago and one of my son's friends ran into a tree at 40MPH and tumbled into the bottom of the pond. $1800 later and it still doesn't run right. People don't realize how hard it is to flip an ATV backwards with it landing on the driver. I have seen it happen twice with mine. |

This is why I only ride inside of cars with seat belts on.
I watched far too many of my friends get hurt and die on ATVs and motorcycles. |

My wife just walked in after seeing it on the news and said, "Where the hell was Sharron?" "Who in their right mind would let Ozzy ride an ATV?"
I have ridden my drunk once and I will never do it again. I ended up with a lot of scratches on my forehead. |

When I was 15 I drove a Honda 750 stoned on Quaaludes. Ended up in intensive care for a few months after going through a closed garage door.
Driving anything stoned is a bad idea. Probably Ozzy shouldn't be let anywhere near even a bicycle, lol. |

Yeah, If I have one drink or beer, I will not drive my bike. Many years ago, I had to identify the body of a friend that hit a telephone poll on his Harley at over 100 MPH. I still have dreams about it. He hit the poll so hard that it broke. Not uncommon with a car or truck but when a Motorcycle breaks a telephone poll, you know it was moving fast.
I pretty much learned my lesson about drinking and driving that night. |

There's lots of trees on Ozzy's English estate. I saw footage of Jack riding a quad-bike on "The Osbournes" so I am guessing that Ozzy either hit a tree and/or flipped it backwards.

Lord help me, I'm just not that bright

With the bleeding that was reported, he probably lost several pints of Phenobarbital.
And your wife is correcto mundo, Jim. Who in their right mind would let Osbourne operate any sort of machinery. The guy can't even walk and talk at the same time. ;-p Fisty |rasta| Last edited by Fisty Palmer; 2003-12-09 at 03:48 PM.. |

Afro John says: "Touch The Extreme Afro & You'll Be In Extreme Pain!"

Ozzy is way too out there to be riding anything, and that includes Sharon at this point, it's time to duct tape the ol Ozz to a table in the house so he doesnt hurt himself.

According to the UK media, MTV have not commented when asked if they were actually filming Ozzy when the accident happened.
I imagine that MTV producers may have asked Ozzy to ride a quad-bike for the show, so footage of the accident may exist. If this is true, Sharon may take legal action against MTV, as Ozzy is not really of sound mind. A BBC DJ commented after yesterday's news (in the same way Jim's wife did) "Who let Ozzy loose on an ATV?!?!" I come from the same town as Ozzy and used to use the same video store as Tony Iommi, the Black Sabbath guitarist, who is a great down to earth guy. I even got invited inside his house so he could sign an album for me. Let's hope Ozzy gets well soon.
