Too Early for a Saturday/Christmas Eve

Morning All. Just woke up, the xmas shopping is done, and life is good. Not even that much of a frozen wasteland here today. Got nothing to do for the next several hours so coding is on deck for the day.

woke up late today for the first time in 2 weeks

everything is done except the wrapping - going to have a few drinks tonite after the kiddies go to bed & hubby and I will have a blast doing that...I think it's the last year for Santa for my oldest - he'll be 11 in Feb & I think he's really forcing himself this year lol. They certainly do grow up fast
gotta thaw a huge turkey to cook tomorrow, other than that I'm just going to sit back & enjoy my family today

Pretty close to my evening, lots of wrapping and some booze in my evening coffee. My boy is 11 on the 29th and he's very skeptical. Last year, his little sister (she's 8 now) dragged him with her to see Santa, but this year he wanted no part of that. I think he wrote a letter but he was pretty close lipped about the whole thing.
Made fresh gingerbread and acorn cookies for tomorrow. I make 4 loaves of sausage bread first thing in the morning and then the friends and family start showing up to help eat it. Then it's be lazy and watch football for the afternoon.
