I went and looked at that site, and I got a very strong wiff of "liberterian attitude" in there. Most of the articles are very subtly but very slearly anti-bush anti-republican, but written in a way to not make you think they have an opinion.

They have a stand, they are just working hard to not make it as blatant as Rush Limbaugh or Al Franken.

I have been using http://news.myway.com and digging down a bit, plus the BBC news site and a couple of others "outside the orbit" of washington. You are correct, too much of the current news is run by the spin doctors and "cycle controllers", but that is what happens when every piece of news is first sterlized, neutralized, and then poked and prodded by a "panel of experts" on the talk shows that pass for news on the Fox News Channel. I find it amazing that from about 6PM until 3 AM, there is little or no news on Fox, and yet it is the most popular news channel.

Makes you wonder.

Alex

Isn't most real news a little anti-dubya without any help from anyone?

Wellll, yeah re: "a libertarian feel" is valid. But, I've found that any libertarian bias in point of view is harmless or even beneficial because it encourages empowering people through information and education and generally views the government and the corporation as hostile to that!

You're right! These are GREAT. I've been using them for about 6 months and fiddle with them all the time. The only mainstream show I bother with is Charlie Rose. The internet now has created a responsibiity for the proper "citizen" to collect his own news. I started a thread here about a month ago asking who used them and for what subjects.... the thread died upon impact.

Tommy did you see this: http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ad.php?t=27466

I don't endorse any off the ideas of this info link but i do like to check them out occassionally.
