Sadly, the NBA is going to be in a position soon to require "hockey boards" or some other setup to keep the fans away from the players and vis-versa. I am truly amazed that there has not been more major issues at these games. The liability has to be huge.

Don't you think that Mrs. Davis should be in a 'players wives/girlfriends' box, where they won't have to deal with shit like this? Its a shame but hey, an ounce of prevention...

That's a tough situation for the home team. Providing an area for visiting players wives/family is going to cut into prime seating, and the number of seats required will likely vary widely from game to game.
