Question Preferred Email Provider?

Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I've been dickin around in my own private corner on the web where I can't hurt nobody for a while now, and I'm interested in getting into the biz for real; slowly at first, of course. I figured I'd start with the well laid out path of building freesites and hubs, and see where that takes me. (Thank you mods very much for giving little piss-ants like me the opportunity to read, and observe. This place is an absolute treasure.)

Anyway... I'm not sure if this is in the right section, but to get to the point, I've been using msn (not a hotmail address, but a paid '@msn.com' address) as my main email provider, and isp. However, I've heard many webmasters wont take submissions for galleries/freesites/etc. when they come from an msn account.

Question: What paid email provider do ya'll like seeing/using the most? Or should I not worry about attempting to please everyone on this?

Side note: I've no problems changing my email provider at this point, as I've no significant connections/relationships built up with that account which I must worry about... not yet anyway. And I don't mind having seperate billings for email and isp's - I'm still young, I still have time to move all across this country. An isp may change, but my email address should always remain the same, ya know? At least, that's how I feel. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Sorry about using too many words to say something simple. I'm good at that.

Thanks ya'll

Simply use an email addy based on one of your domains that you plan on owning forever and ever. Such as "webmaster@buggermesilly.com".

There's no need to purchase separate email accounts. I assume you'll be registering some domains and setting up hosting for your hub and free sites. The hosting account(s) should include email. For example, you register www.virgohippy.com you'd get an email account such as webmaster@virgohippy.com.

I considered using a domain of my own. I just wasn't sure if that'd be a good idea, seeing as I'm sure so many fly-by-night's probably do bunch's of similar stuff. I didn't want to be confused for something I'm not, but if ya'll think it's okay, I'll do it that way. Probably makes far more sense anyway.

Thanks for the speedy responses. Much love to the both of you.

Yep, using a mail addy specific to one of your domains is the best option

Only caveat is to make sure you use that addy consistently on your submissions...and you'll be good to go!
