Intelligent design is only discussed by closed minded people (I won't go so far as to say unintelligent, but certainly not good with facts and science).

My question has always been this: We always talk about "the universe" - what happens if this is only "a universe amoungst others"? In the same manner that we see evolution within this universe, could universes have also "evolved"?

For me the concept that we came from nothing isn't much more comforting than "some old guy made it in a week, and he took a day off, even".
