Sunday the 4th in Vegas

The Grand Canyon and Zion National park are awesome. I've camped on both the south and north rim. Did a little horse back riding, but didn't do the two day trip to the bottom. IMHO the north rim is nicer since it is much less crowded. Zion is one the most beautiful places that I have ever stayed. There is a canyon there that I hiked where they wouldn't let you hike if it was going to rain. I can't remember the name, but remember the sheer black walls on each side, it was really awesome.

PS: I was a whole lot older then a child on my previous visits to Vegas, but the child in me now is looking forward to riding some roller coasters now.
