Ah… there is nothing like a long bike ride and then having your wife pop a tire on the way home so you get to enjoy a nice 2 mile walk home...

Am I the only one that carries a pump, repair kit, and an extra inner tube? I think this is from living in the country when I was young. Back then if your bike broke you got to enjoy many miles of walking it home though hilly backwoods county side or fixing it on the spot.

I am horrible about this. I've been driving around without a spare for about 2 years now. I have the spare rim....just no tire to wrap around it. And my size tires arn't carried everywhere.

Been a rough couple of days for me and my family, but it looks like the clouds are finally lifting.
