Well your first mistake was sending traffic to a "newbie paysite owner"

Nothing else after that really matters, you might as well wipe your ass with 100 dollar bills instead of sending traffic to people who don't know how to convert/retain it.

i see a hot girl, a nicely designed site, i see the members area, great content, so i know as experienced webmaster it will retain VERY well............so whats next? my brain tells me, i WANT to promote this site
