Well, I called the vet last night for an update on Shamus.

She was concerned about the thickness of his ear and whether or not the staples they used were big enough to hold the ear for proper healing. He may have to go back under the knife today. Hopefully all is well and he'll come home, but she didn't sound too promising. If he needs more work done, I'm going to have to start selling shit to finance that fucking ear.

Otherwise, it's just another gloomy looking day in gorgeous upstate fucking NY.
