Right there are a few interesting things here I really need to look into further. Ive never used SSI before, but it looks like it can do the job well, but needs a bit of setting up. This business has become a total mine field in terms of things to remember and do per page, let alone per site!

Im looking at that wizard software, and whilst it looks good - from what i can see - I wouldnt mind using a demo before I buy the product. Im really trying to keep my outgoings low at the moment - I have a load of things I need to purchase, hosting being the biggest one currently, but I need to keep my outgoings down as I also need to find another £2000 for my house deposit!

Out of interest, how long is it taking you guys to make a freesite (entrance, index, 2 galleries?) I have spent about 14 hours on just one today, although it is my first and im still not totally there with it. Well, in fact im miles off but i keep getting distracted which doesnt help. I figured if I can get it to take 2-3 hours a day, including SEO, submitting and recips im well on my way. I just feel massively overwhelmed at the moment

I've only recently started trying out the free site game, I've been TGP up until now. It's taking me about a day to design up a new "template" right now... maybe less.. I tend to fiddle with things and the ones I've been doing have required a bunch of image prep besides the actual content images. The first one took a lot longer. But once the template is done, it doesn't take much time to create a new free site with different content. My goal is to get enough templates built that I'm submitting the same ones only once every week or 2...

Be careful with the templates...some reviewers are pretty sensitive about seeing the same templates used more than every couple weeks to a month.

GG recommends building 30 templates so they only get used once a month

Yeah well that ain't going to happen... I'm in this primarily for the links. I make (at the very least) decent sites, I try and use content that may not be overexposed, I try and pick niches that maybe aren't promoted as much, I'm trying to use underexposed programs and I'm skilled at SEO. If they don't want my sites because I use the same "template" once a week or 2 then that's not really my problem as I see it. I've still got a site listed on PK, RR and a couple other sites from 4+ years ago so I'm not exactly a cheater, newbie or a flake.

Frankly, after reading all the rules and stuff on all these links lists (I haven't done submissions of any sort in 4 years), I'm going to have to go and change my TGP submission rules to be easier for newbies.. I never realized how much us WMs running TGPs/LLs sound like major assholes with all our rules and "I'll ban you for this.. I'll ban you for that" talk... Damn... We've all gotten so freakin cynical dealing with cheaters and stupid submitters all the time that we've ended up turning into the enemy. No wonder we just get slammed with auto-submitted crap in the hope we'll take something. Instead of bitching and moaning about everything I'm just going to use technology to prescreen things a lot more.

Actualy I use Adavanced Submitter to manage recip tables for TGPs and LLs. I just create a seperate "niche" database for each category and store the recips there. I then run a little batch program to move/rename the pages.

They have a unlimited trial version that you can use until you are ready to buy.
