Basic Free Site Admin

Hi All

I'd be very interested to know what other people do with their Free Sites when they've finished submitting them. Build and forget, I know, but I'm talking about basic 'filing' here.

Do you keep the original files on your hard disc, do you database the sites according to date, title, niche etc, or if you've got a LL, is that sufficient for 'storing' your sites? |badidea|

I've got every file for every site still on my hard drive, as when it was first created, and its useful to refer to sometimes, but I'm seriously thinking of creating a more organised database.

I moved most of mine to a portable HD (that crashed with an unrecoverable error) and still had about 20G on my C drive.

I downloaded all the stuff I lost on the portable HD crash from my servers to yet another portable HD which seems to handle it better

I know this sounds crazy - but I once lost everything in a computer crash and ended up using the "wayback machine" to recover what I needed. heh heh
