I have plenty of credit cards but mostly I use my debit card cards, which are on separate accounts and I keep only small amounts of money in them. I just go online and move money from my main checking accounts to the debit accounts when I need to.

I agree that debit card is the way to go! I also get fraud alert calls when they think something might be up. Makes me feel good that they are watching.
