Yeah, I wouldn't see any harm in editing a sponsor's post in any manner, as long as it still promotes the contributing sponsor when all is said and done. I wouldn't edit a fellow webmaster's posts unless you see a seriously mispelled word that isn't going to let you sleep at night.
