I would prefer to pour concrete, and put astroturf on it. I prefer low maintenance. Wife however prefers grass and doesn't like xeriscaping.

Other than that, going to meet some people for lunch -- Cleo, I think your class would be more fun -- its just a stone's throw away.

Then, back to work for me.

haha, forgot to hit post...

I can't stop clicking my heels… It's so good to be home.

I think I'm already dreading doing this again in two years…

I hurt my finger while attempting to start my lawnmower. I hate my lawnmower.

That's all I really have in me today. The wife and kids are sailing on Lake Champlain and I'm sitting here complaining about my boo-boo because I'm a loser.

Ok added greenguysboard.com to the .htaccess hope you can click directly to it now. I was getting hit by firefusk pretty bad, so had to put up a .htaccess. Bastards.

Isn't that pump special? lol When it gets a bit cooler, we plan to enclose it with a lattice box so it isn't so obvious.

I LOVE that pond, we regret that it was so small, but plan on making a 10' x 10' or so pond this fall. We have issues with hair alge, which we have to reach in and yank out every week or so, but other than that it is pretty low maintenance. We plan on putting fish in though when we get a bigger pond, and that will require a bit more care. But if you plan it out right, ponds will pretty much maintain themselves.

We learned alot from this one, like put barley straw and bacteria/enzimes in from the get go to avoid the alge. And bigger ponds are easier to maintain than little ones.

Yeah you have to hit enter a second time with the pics so that the request is made with no url referral. RedCherry needs to add greenguysboard.com to her htaccess if she wants to post urls to her pics.

BTW, really like the ponds. I've been wanting to add some ponds to my backyard but they are a lot of upkeep and I ignore my backyard for weeks on end sometimes.
