I get recognized all of the time. Just last week a guy stopped me in the grocery store because he remembered me from his World Literature class. The week before that, a woman I worked with at a catheter plant saw me and gave me a big hug.

I didn't realize these events were such a big deal, but I'm willing to start a new thread every time it happens.

Oh, Ivana - congratulations on your emancipation. I didn't realize that Russia has slavery in this day and age.
